Training Tuesday & HBBC Update













Another Tuesday is here and that means another HBBC update. Let's see how I did last week {hint, it wasn't very good!}

December 13/11
5k run: 3 pts

December 14/11
5k run: 3 pts

December 15/11
rest

December 16/11
rest

December 17/11
crossfit: 1 pt
3.2k walk: 2 pts


December 18/11
crossfit: 1 pt
5.6k walk: 3.5 pts

December 19/11
5k run: 3 pts
crossfit {45 mins}: 2.25 pts

Total:  107.0

I have less than 15k until I've ran 1100k for the year, so hopefully I can squeeze in a run or two before 2011 ends!

Here are a few workouts we did last week at crossfit:

Workout one

21 15 9
deadlifts
box jumps

*you do 21 deadlifts then 21 box jumps, etc


Workout two

15 minutes:
Row 2500m
AMRAP of double unders

*so you have 15 minutes total. If it takes that long to row, then you don't have to do double unders

Tell me: if you are participating in the HBBC, how is it going for you? If not, what kind of workouts have you been doing lately?

  1. I did the 21 15 9 workout with pull ups and clean and jerks. HOLY crap. My shoulders. Ridiculous. Sounds so easy, but it's soooo not.

    How high is your box? I can't jump higher than 18 inches without faceplanting.

  3. I have been doing a combo of running on the treadmill (or outside when possible) and biking on a stationary bike!
