I confess....that I was the pickiest eater growing up. I can still be picky about somethings, but nothing compared to what I was when I was younger. The only things that I would eat growing up were: kraft dinner, chicken and diet coke. I am happy to say that I will now eat mushrooms, tomatoes, shrimp, fish, spaghetti sauce, etc. Though I can still be picky about my peanut butter MUST be Kraft smooth. No other option!

Tell me: are you a picky eater or is there anything you are picky about?

  1. My husband has to have peter pan peanut butter!

  2. haha you were picky like Justin is now. :) ha ha That's our fav PB too, so you are safe to come over!

  3. I am still a picky eater, but I have come along way!!! I thought I liked peanut butter, but have recently realized I dont! Just peanut butter cups and peanut butter cookies!

  4. I refuse to eat "pancake syrup." I think it tastes disgusting and I'd rather eat a dry pancake if there's no real maple syrup. I used to be a picky eater but now I'm definitely not.

  5. I was never a picky eater growing up. If I didn't want to eat what my parents put in front of me, I didn't get anything at all so I was forced to eat and like everything.

  6. I wasn't too bad growing up and now I like to think I will eat and try a lot of things but am very picky when it comes to processed foods etc and won't eat them, I also do not eat a lot of meat, so maybe I am picky ;)

  7. I was never (and am not) a picky eater. I will eat pretty much anything. My brother was a picky eater; he would only eat white rice with catchup for a really long time. I like chunky PB; I don't really care what kind it is!

  8. I was a very picky eater growing up. I would say I didn't like something without even trying it lol. I've gotten better but there are still some things I'm picky about but only after trying :P

  9. I was fairly picky too. However I have come a long way (well I like to think anyway). I wouldn't eat any kind of veggie that was cooked when I was little and I will eat most of them now. It is totally a texture thing. Overcooked veggies = mushy = GROSS

  10. When I was young, I hated seafood (I am still very picky about it). The only way I would eat fish was off a neon orange shovel. Like the kind you play with in the sand. My dad kept the shovel... it's covered in little teeth marks lol.

  11. I have never been a picky eater because it really was not an option in my house! There were 5 kids so meals times were tough enough just preparing one thing for everyone. My parents were not fans of letting us make our own meals either, so it's not like you had another option if you didn't like what was being served. You either ate it or you went hungry! Sounds hard core, but it wasn't that bad. There were things I didn't love, like tomato soup, but I ate them anyways...

  12. I wasn't really a picky eater growing up- I hated and still hate egg yolk. I was raised that you eat what's put in front of you (don't always agree with this!) so I think I am more picky now but that's just because I'm more willing to say what I do and don't like. I will always eat what's put in front of me, but if Jarrett's making something I will tell him if I don't' like it since there is no sense in him making it again and again if I hate it!!

I love how you would only drink diet coke!! I don't think we were allowed to have pop that much when I was younger. It just wasn't around much at our house I think.

  13. Well it is vivid in my mind that my fave food are mac and cheese and hot-dogs. Poor mom can't persuade me to eat broccoli. LOL
