Run for L'Arche: training week five



Another week of training down! I know I say this each week, but time is going by really quickly! 

I love finding new songs to run to and I've found a couple new ones. They are:

Stay- Rihiana

Sweet pea- Amos Lee

Monday 2/11
  • 4.3km walk with Harley
  • CrossFit workout:
5 rounds of:

1:00 min SDLHP
1:00 min OHS
1:00 min push jerk
1:00 min rest
 Tuesday 2/12
  • 4.4km walk with Harley
  • 5.4km run {5:02/km pace} at lunch
Wednesday 2/13
  • 4.1km walk with Harley
Thursday 2/14
  • 5.5km run {5:28/km pace} at lunch
Friday 2/15
  • 4.2km walk with Harley
Saturday 2/16
  • 16.01km run {5:37/km pace} 
  • 5km walk with Harley and the dog we were dog sitting
Sunday 2/17
  • 4.3km walk with Harley
  • at home CrossFit workout
Totals
Running: 27km
Walking: 29km

  2. Raise your weapon is one of my faves to run to when I'm getting annoyed with fast music. It has just enough beat to keep ya going!

  4. I, too, think it's awesome you ran on your lunch break. I am such a hot mess after I run, it'd take me 45 minutes to get ready again so running over lunch doesn't work for me. :( I wish it did as it'd be a convenient way to sneak a workout in!

    last week was a crappy running week for me. I had such jam packed weekend as I was busy with hosting duties and then went to my brothers on Sunday to spend time with my nephews. I failed at fitting running in as study hours come first. I am hoping this week goes better.
