Run for L'Arche: training week three

Another week of training done! The beginning of the week had super cold weather, but luckily it warmed up considerably by the weekend. Above zero temperatures are MUCH better than those in the minus for training.

Monday 1/28
  • 4km walk with Harley
  • CrossFit workout. The workout was:
10 rounds of:
10 chest to bar pullups
15 wallballs

Tuesday 1/29
  • 5km {5:57/km pace} run on the treadmill
Wednesday 1/30
  • CrossFit workout. The workout was:
10, 5, 3 reps of clean and jerks
 
 Thursday 1/31
  • 5.6km {5:37/km pace} run with Harley
Friday 2/1
  • 4km walk with Mr.D and Harley
Saturday 2/2
  • 12.1km {5:58/km pace} with Erica. It was a gorgeous day for a run and it was nice to chat with a friend the entire time
Sunday 2/3
  • 7.2km walk with Harley
  • CrossFit workout. The workout was a tough one!
A. 500m row
B. 3 rounds of:
20 one armed KB swings
20 KB squats
20 KB one arm lunges
20 KB one arm lunges
20 SDLHP
2:00 min rest
  
Totals:
Running: 22.7km
Walking: 15.2km

Overall, another great week of training. The CrossFit workout on Monday left my legs feeling pretty tired all week though.

  3. Last week was a tough week for me as I was traveling for work. I fit one run in while traveling but missed a run becuase I had to be at the airport so early and then had a dinner that night. This week is going better thus far and it warmed to ALMOST freezing which is a vast improvement!

  4. Dang girl you go! I wish I had the energy to wanna do this but I do not have enough to wanna do or attempt cross fit. So I give you huge props for doing it :)
