Training Tuesday

Monday 4/29
  • 4.0km walk with Harley
  • CrossFit workout
Tuesday 4/30 
  • 7.5km {5:09/km avg pace} run with Harley
Wednesday 5/1
  • CrossFit workout
4 rounds of:
80ft broad jumps
20 burpees

Thursday 5/2
  • 2.43km {6:09/km avg pace} run with Harley 
  • 5.3km {5:09/km avg pace} run by myself
Friday 5/3
  • 5.0km walk with Harley
Saturday 5/4
  • 26.0km {6:15/avg pace} run with Erica. This was a tough, hot and shitty run! Oh well, it's over and done.
Sunday 5/5
  • 16.0km bike ride around the neighbourhood
  • 15 min Nike Training Club ab burner

Running: 41.0kms
Walking: 9.0kms

Overall, not a bad week of training. My ankle and knee were giving me trouble on the long run on Saturday, so hoping with the decreased distance now, they will start feeling better.

  1. Saturday would have been a very hot day for a run. Good job though!!! I hope you ankle and knee smarten up!!

    My workouts have been so-so. I'm just not feeling it these days but I've been forcing myself to do them anyway. Hopefully I get my mojo back soon.

  3. I hate burpees! Every time I see them on the board I have to fight the urge to run back out the door. Do you ever learn to love them?? haha

  5. Sorry to hear your knee and ankle are still bugging you... I hope the taper is good for them and that you start to feel better. Maybe go to the doctor after your Ireland trip if they are still bugging you?
