Training Tuesday

My workouts last week were pretty tame, but it's nice just doing whatever I feel like each night.

  • 4.2km run with Harley. It was mostly running with a few walk breaks mixed in. Felt pretty good!

  2. Yes yardwork DEFINITELY counts as a workout! Wear a heart rate monitor next time and I bet you'd be surprised by the calorie burn!

  3. I'm so happy you're able to run without pain!! Woot Woot! And yes, yardwork definitely counts as a workout!!

    I only managed two runs (14.2 miles) Less than I would have liked but I'm trying not to overdue it before Calgary, especially coming off an injury. I am feeling good though and can't wait to start pushing myself again after Sunday!!

  4. Goodness gracious, yard work totally counts as a workout! Or at least for me. I remember doing yard work last year with those big shear things and my chest/triceps were sore for days later! :S

  5. I think yardwork counts for sure! I counted moving as workouts because I was on my feet non-stop and picking up boxes, etc.

    My week of workouts wasn't great... I fit them in when I had time, but between starting a new job, 3 nights of after work welcome happy hours and a dinner, and then moving, I did not do as many traditional workouts as I would have liked. But hopefully I can get back on track this week (and hopefully I don't have any happy hours because I am totally socialized out).

  6. I haven't been to a crossfit class in two weeks (one taper, one recovery). I am looking forward to getting back to it again. What's your favorite WOD?
